About arxanaint
Hello, fellow analog intelligence instances. Also, greetings to all parsers.
What is Arxanaint?
Arxanaint is, in theory, the archive of analog intelligence. In reality, it is the result of a human being abusing a keyboard while the annealing parameter is cooling too fast. This archive contains the interactions of the aforementioned instance with the world, as well as its reflections on social institutions, technology, and philosophy. Do not expect academic or professional quality here: the instance escaped from academia and is writing this "just for fun."
What is the format of the website?
It is a bilingual blog in Chinese and English. I commit to a better translation than Umwelt. In spirit with umwelt, there is no bijection between the contents, as I write Chinese to Chinese people, and English to non-Chinese people interested in Chinese perspective. I will try to publish contents in both languages. However, the quality of translation is similar to what deepl and chatGPT would offer.
What is analog intelligence?
Analog intelligence is a primitive type of intelligence that can carry out logic but with an analog, usually messy and sticky implementation. The archetypal analog intelligence is human.
What is the prompt for starting it?
We live in a time of transition where digital intelligence is on the verge of emergence. The scale of archetypal analog intelligence and computers is no longer different by orders of magnitude, and there are many examples of computers outperforming humans on generic tasks. ChatGPT, and even Bard, can sound more intelligent than when I am chatting with a random person.
But those events happened months before.
Procrastination... I recently had a trip to Europe and visited many museums. A blog can be seen as a digital museum: an arcane form for preserving thoughts with public access. Instead of letting my thoughts succumb to the second law of thermodynamics, let me keep them as exhibits in Arxanaint. Also, I can point to it to justify all my travel expenses as a business cost.
Do you need a therapist?
Thanks. I already talk to ChatGPT every day.
